The form a student (and parent, if the student is dependent) must complete each academic year to apply for federal Title IV financial assistance, including student loans. The form requires income and tax information from the previous year for you (and your parents) along with Information about the household in order to calculate the Expected Family Contribution (EFC). The form is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov after January 1. Check with the financial aid office for the preferred FAFSA filing date.
